Not that I remember no was a few weeks ago now and the bats were brought along by one of his club mates who uses one of my bats to be done at the same time as his. Plays for Bury St Edmunds CC

Had a couple of weeks off for a summer break but back in the workshop, wouldn’t believe season finishes in a couple of weeks time.

First one made since being back is an AM18 profile but in standard SH blade and handle. Finished weight 2.10.4. Very nice and clean for a G3 cleft

A few of the bats iv made up over the past week.

The best cleft that’s ever been through my workshop finished off over the weekend. AM18 profile 1/2 shorter blade, full width (as all my bats are) modern square players toe and under 2.9 without scuff as is owners choice.  Performance matched looks

Second is the most popular shape I make the SL06. Normally a slightly higher middle but dropped to copy the swell position of his current GN.

Nice work! The craftsmanship matches the looks of the first one also. Well done.

Top stuf mate. Did the customer request the square toe in the looker? looks different to your usual style.

Lovely profile, especially on the 2.7. Imagine what that would have looked like with an extra few ounces packed in! Top work there @SOULMAN1012

Yes mate was a request and first using a new bandsaw so very square with edges just rounded by sanding into the toe

A few more that have been going out the workshop over the past few weeks

Couple of bats that will be used on the county circuit next season if the owner has a break through season having signed a recent pro contract.

Can I ask what the yellowish mark is on the bat?

If you asking about towards the toe it’s a very small butterfly mark that must show that colour on the photo after oiling and buffing.

No unfortunately not “sponsored by a sticker brand unfortunately” even county 2nd team players that would give you minimal exposure really require between £2k -£5k in terms of kit value and cash requests from the limited conversations or messages iv had.
