I think they are probably bats they have ‘on file’ from various manufacturers in order to study and copy shapes and other features

There’s a kookaburra bat in there, and they are made by SG, always have been (since being Indian made at least)

Don't you just love there are 3 Salix bats in that pile. ;)  People here talked about Salix as if its the gold standards of bats. But man oh man, 3 Salix bats in the SS pile. :D :D :D

Cant be right, ie youth bats?

Ive seen salix workshop  and them mass producing bats. So they are not ss bats

We know kook are sg, NB are sondhi, and salix salix

I reckon most brands will have sample shapes of competitors

The fact that the superior Salix finish can still be identified in an average quality screenshot says it all for me.

No, not really. It was the sharpie written "Salix" on the toe that gave it away.

Maybe they are samples and so is M&H. :D

It probably helps them when players or customers have seen certain shapes and want the same or variations.

Makes perfect sense for a bat manufacturer with a large customer base.
