UZ Cricket
« on: August 06, 2020, 01:01:57 PM »

Just wanted to do a quick review of the new UZ Sports bat I got recently. Bat is no longer in my possession even though I had purchased it with full intentions of using it, with our season in full swing and many players short on gear due no equipment sharing this bat arrived and was snapped up by a teammate within days. He is very happy with it, considering the fact that instead of getting caught at 30 yd line now he is getting caught at the boundary :)

Anyways over to the the bat.

Made in the UK
Weight is 2lb 11oz
decent looking grains
Pickup and balance was very nice and performance is really good
Branding, Stickers are absolutely marvellous
Only thing that was not up to a premium bat standard was finishing, almost rough with no real shine to it.

This a Canadian brand, run by one of our very own on the forum who enjoys a nice coverdrive :). If you are looking for a decent UK made bat, these are really good for the price you pay and come from recognized makers in UK. https://www.uzcricket.com/

Now the pics. I did put it next to my Rob Pack Custom for comparison but thats a beast

Thought this was a typo at first and that it was going to be an Uzi Sports bat!

I have personally seen some of their products - and have been very impressed. It’s a great up and coming company and has already taken the local market (Canada) by storm.

They also have a few international players endorsing them. I see great things for UZ in the future.

Well for those who are new, this bat in particular is pressed very well. I know they have some new stock coming too which is also going to be incredible, best thing here was I didnt have to worry about customs duty or shipping cost it was very well priced for a good bat made in the UK...

UZvs Them is their tag like so I not sure if its You-Zee or us or something else...if you have more questions please reach out to them but I do know the owner is away due to some family concerns so i hope everything is ok on that front.

Hey Amit yeah regular SH, it looks small next to my RPC but that one is the exception and not the rule. I was offered a Joe root shape first but I didnt want the shorter blade as I am tall anyways....you'll enjoy yours when it gets here...some belters coming!!

Just don’t get why the need to call it uz sports when they clearly know of uzi sports.
