JEDi Grade 1 Harrow

Having finally accepted that in my mid 20s I'm not going to get any taller, I've made the switch to using harrow bats. The prices are cheaper and, as people suggested, I have found I've got a better range of shots with the shorter bat.

I'd tried a couple of stock harrows but the available weights just didn't quite do it, so a custom option it was. Having heard so much positive feedback about the bats Mr Dollive produces, I got in touch and he sorted me out with this lovely wee bat at a great price and in under two weeks from when I first got in touch.

Weighs 2lb 8.25oz with toe guard, scuff sheet and one grip. Approximately 32mm edges and a 50mm spine, so not the biggest bat in the world but pretty healthy for a Harrow.

After a couple of hours knocking in the middle sounds very nice and it's deceptively good for a relatively light bat. James has done a cracking job of balancing the bat and it picks up every bit as well as the Chase FLC harrow I had which was about 2oz lighter. It's also worth mentioning that the shoulders and toe are noticeably thicker than any stock harrow I've seen which hopefully bodes well for its durability.

Would also have to add that I'm a big fan of the new JEDi stickers which look far more polished than previous years and at £130 for a G1 bat I really can't complain about the value either. Overall, if anyone is considering picking up a Jedi bat I'd strongly recommend it as James was an absolute pleasure to deal with and has produced a lovely bat.

Full width bat and a proper weight

You're basically getting a small men's bat for a harrow price, bargain!

Yeah, really pleased with it and great value. After another couple of sessions of throwdowns it's starting to open up nicely as well, definitely a bat I'll be hanging on to.
