Stoinis using a SG Hardik Pandya left behind
« on: December 12, 2020, 11:37:24 AM »

Noticed something wrong with the Gray nicolls stamp on the bat Stoinis was using

On closer inspection its the new SG edge stamp and HP 33 under the stickers too i reckon

might have been one of Hardiks magic bats he smoked the Aussies with

such a nice profile

More likely something he picked up at the IPL wouldn’t you think?

Didn't Bairstow get dropped by GN for this?

Makes me wonder if SK bats are not valued as highly by the pros as the forum here. I can understand if he used one while in IPL/India assuming he didn't get access to SK made bats shipped from Aus in time (still highly unlikely situation for sponsored player) but to use SG bat in Aus when he has the best of SK made GN bats at his disposal tells that SG make equal or better bats at least in top of their range. Or maybe GN just needs players to use their stickered bats as part of contract and players use whatever bat they like.

Why wouldn't SG not make equal or better bats law of average says they would being the largest users of willow there is hence the largest amount of quality clefts.

Great spot by the OP

SG do make some exceptional bats - what a profile that is! Wouldn't be surprised if he asked for a shot of one of Hardik's and liked it so much to do this
