Damn, Pakistan really struggling all round.

Was digging deeper, Mo Abbas, since Jan 2019 has a strike rate of 93! Over a period of 2 years, his taken more than 2 wickets only once. Surely Pakistan have to look at alternative options?

Abbas down on pace, looks to have lost that zip from his injury. Opposition players batting outside the crease to counter him

definitely

surprised riz did not stand up to counter that. but with that loss of pace his lost his ability to take wickets judging by the stats over last 2 years. time for a new face to lead the attack i think.

This Williamson lad seems alright. Wonder if he'll make it?

He’s some player isn’t he.

His powers of concentration are unbelievable, and his technique is so solid it’s a real shock when he plays a false shot or gets out.

He must just love the whole process of batting on such a fundamental level that he gets absorbed into everything about it. Might sound a bit deep, but the amount of times he digs NZ out of a hole and puts the team in strong positions to win is incredible and I don’t know how else you could concentrate for that long and produce the goods at the same time repeatedly

There simply isn't any way you could not like Williamson. What a player

I think he's the best player in the world at the moment. Would Kohli or Smith do as well in NZ's side?

Crowe would be the only NZ batsman I could think of. fabulous player in an average team-apart from Hadlee the other world class player at the time.

Smith,Kholi and Williamson are out of their own.
KW I prefer to watch as defensively he is as good as I’ve seen-just awesome

You can really see his change this season after a dismal Aussie tour. His concentration is far more visible now as he was getting into a stage last season where he would waft outside off regularly or play an attacking shot to a good ball. I think he has taken a leaf out of Pre this series Smith where he would rarely play a false shot. You watch him now and if its a good ball he want play at it of dead bat it, Over pitched 4, too short 4, stray on pads 4. I think the Aussie tour really hurt him and he has worked very hard. Even the greats must keep adapting and working hard to improve (I imagine Smith is going through this right now but will come good again).

And Azhar drops Kane again. They are horrible fielders. The bowlers must have big hearts.

I wonder if it’s because they’ve been forced to stand a lot closer to Kane (given how soft he plays the ball) - commentators were mentioning that earlier

The bowlers must have big hearts.

Keeping all that anger inside must be bad for their spirit. It'd be nice if one of them bowlers just removes the dropping fielder from the slip cordon, raise his finger like an ump. "Go!"

Masood really does get a lot of ducks. He gets one score per series and the rest are single figures - can see him being dropped
