Mids Custom Cricket Bat

Hi all

Thanks to Covid, my stay has been extended in Pakistan. As such, I have ended up buying a MIDS bat in Babar Azamish profile!!?? (that's what i requested..)

I had heard a lot about MIDS bats performing really well so got this custom profile directly from Hassan at MIDS. Took a while to get this though as I think MIDS mostly do B2B..

Really impressed with the performance after knocking it in. I will say though the willow was really soft initially and required carefully knocking-in. The edges were really sharp as well which is standard for any Pakistani bat. Hopefully the bat lasts as I feel that the shoulder area might be a bit on the thinner side.....

Paid £130 for this + a pair of gloves!

Weight is 2lb 9oz

Really like Mids bats had a few like the shape great price and good bit of timber

OMG... are they releasing bats with these stickers... ???nostalgic and sentimental reasons.

One of the first bats my father bought me when I was 11...had black MiDs stickers and ive been wanting a bat like that ever since...

MIDS are a bit like Malik - really good bats if you get one with a decently made handle - but soooo difficult to find a reputable source to buy from in the UK, seem to be many 'interesting' ones on ebay.

Malik Sher was one of the best bats I ever used, and I'm pretty sure I had a used MIDS off Dave that was a pinger too.

I really like the branding.

I recently saw The Cricket Shed mention they are due to be stocking Mids. Although, not yet on their website!
