Kookaburra or Puma
« on: February 05, 2021, 11:12:11 AM »

I am leaning towards buying pads and maybe gloves aswell. What are your thoughts on Puma Vs kookaburra. Have you guys had any experience with them if you what would you prefer.

For me 100% puma. My match pads have been Morrants for the past 3 or 4 seasons but I’ve always had puma 4000/5000 as nets/friendly pads and they are excellent for me.

Don't think you'll go too wrong with either but why limit yourself to choosing between those two?

Reasons are
I been using focus pads and they are top notch but as they are white inside they have got dirty so I want something colourful that you won't notice much if they dirty.
I like puma design and colour scheme.
I have been using kook bats since last season and I quite like them ticks every box for me. Had my most successful season last year with it so want to try their other products as j think quality is good plus again coloured pads.

If you have a kook bat you like and want to match, there is your answer.
Both make decent pads and gloves.

Ghost for kook only because I like a plain pad but keep an eye on eBay and see if you can get some pro issue ones

Ghost looks good but my reason for changing is that I don't want white inside anymore. It's difficult to make white look white after season or two.

Kookaburra Pace are pretty much completely blue on the inside of the pads.
