Return to cricket spikes
« on: March 10, 2021, 05:39:17 PM »

Hi guys,

Thought I'd come on here to get some advice. I snapped my achilles last season and had surgery to repair it. I am now pretty much ready to be back playing cricket again.

Just wondering if anyone could recommend any spikes that would be great to get to give me some extra support and comfort. I'm an allrounder and bowl medium to fast.

Any advice/recommendations would be appreciated.

I have been there on the snapped achillies. Ouch.
Look for some good bowling boots with a nice heel rise.
But finding ones that are a good fit is the way to go.
Probably New Balance or get some Asics from India. Just pay the money.

Think Asics bowling Spikes would be better choice, seen them been in very good shape after years of use.

I snapped mine in 2019 and used New Balance when I returned to playing in 2020.
