Cricket whites recommendations with a good fit
« on: May 17, 2021, 11:41:52 AM »

Hello,
I am looking for some advice around cricket whites please. I am looking to buy some good fitting cricket whites. Most of the whites I see in the market (trousers especially) have a very generic loose fit. I have seen players wearing in leagues wearing good fitting whites. Does anyone have any recommendations of clothing which would fit someone with a slim build well?

Gray Nicolls Pro performance trousers and shirts are slim fitting.

Adidas have brought out some Howzat slim fit trousers too which are nice.

I use both of the above this season for saturdays and sundays.

Agree with the GN performance range suggestion......not for me as have to wear loose matrix range!  Impressed with GN quality so far

For me, Surridge are the best, by far

As I'm looking into a new supplier for my club Macron have sent me some samples. Their whites are absolutely brilliant! I highly recomment using Macron kits.

I got samples from Macron when sorting out our club kit 2 years ago when they first started doing cricket kit. The trousers were so baggy it was like wearing curtains, and they were a different colour to the shirts!! Although the shirts fitted exceptionally.

However, their new stuff looks much better and definitely would consider if we changed again in a couple of years

Their current trousers feel more like regular to slim fit. Nothing baggy now.

+1 for the Adidas. I bought some for this season as I’d lost a lot of weight since last playing in 2019 and they fit nicely, legs are very tapered. Plenty long enough for me at 6’2”. Not as plush as their top of the range trousers, but nothing like as expensive either. Got mine here...

eBay might be a minefield but happy on this occasion.

Thanks for the recommendations. GN and Adidas definitely seem like the go to brands..I checked on multiple sites but it seems like the ranges are out of stock everywhere for the sizes I am after :(.

Just digging up an old one here folks,

Anyone got any experience with the Shrey “Elite” whites or the Aero whites?

Relatively thick thighed due to years of rugby and keeping so can’t have anything too slim fitting but don’t like wearing bed sheets either.

Cheers!

I have some Shrey whites and I have to say they are incredibly soft and very comfortable, unsure about fit as my legs are quite skinny.
