Hunts County League Special balls
« on: July 03, 2021, 08:48:13 PM »

I've used theses a few times now at our club and nobody seems to like them.

Good shape retention but they don't really have any seam and the lacquer coating comes off making your hands sticky. Not ideal when you want to put revs on the ball. I've googled Hunts County League Special and I see they are £20 a ball but they seem to be a different type.

I've bought a few of these in pink for myself and they are lasting well.

Have Hunts upgraded their design or do we have some original copies?

Either way I'm looking for alternatives that can't be red (the Dutch don't play red ball cricket so neither do we, apparently). Our league allows White, Pink and Orange balls. I've used Tiflex Magnas before and liked them but do you have any other ideas?

Found them and they are original Hunts.

Not the cheapest option but still the lacquer makes the ball stick to your hands. Anybody else experiencing this?

I've advised we try Tiflex Manga's.
