Understandable considering the IPL link.

I quite fancy a SG.

makes sense for him to use an indian brand with the amount of t20/ipl he will play.

interesting that Adidas have let him go, is this a sign that they are pulling back from equipment? dont see that many adidas bats or softs in club cricket. IMO they should stick to footwear and teamwear

Delray Rawlins also recently moved from Adidas to SG - https://www.instagram.com/p/CRrtoyRhmrd/

Maybe a sign of more to come!

You have to ask, are Adidas going to quit with cricket equipment other than shoes.

Will be interesting to see what Tom Curran does and also Broad.

Finn Allen left Adidas just before the hundred, used a plain bat but now with SS.

all signs pointing to adidas dropping out of the market

I do wonder if the agreement SG have (or maybe had) with Kookaburra has now come to an end?

SG make Kookaburras equipment, my understanding is that there was always an agreement with Kook that SG would not enter the UK market as a supplier of their own brand.

I know he plays IPL etc but it doesn't make that much sense to me to sign an England player and not sell the products in England.

Loads of UK retailers are stocking sg now, certainly Romida does. So the commercial agreement with kook must have changed. (I am not counting grey market retailers in thay comment)
