Domonic Cork No More.
« on: August 14, 2008, 08:17:53 PM »

Lancashire have decided not to give Corky a contract for 2009 season. I am quite upset about this as I still feel that he has alot to offer and is one of the only current Lancashire players with real fire in his belly.

Don't especially like him as a person, but a good cricketer. He may find himself back at Derbyshire, with them needing a captain.

Not a chance! Hell will freeze over before Dom Cork goes to Sussex. After what happened at last years C and G final. I think he will go to Derby for one season and then retire.

Cork is a great character and i think he is one of the people who you prefer to play with instead of against.

One thing that I am 99% sure of is that when he does decide to hang up his boots Sky Sports will snap him up. Him and Bumble will make for good listening.

Not together though. As they are both great characters but them together would just be to much.
