What is a bit odd about the video is that Haydon says (incorrectly) that the vs on your hands should point down the spine of your bat, then when he holds the bat he has his vs correctly down the outside half of the bat.
That is a big lump of a bat mind you.

I spent a few weeks being taught by Matt Hayden on a kids summer camp, when he was the pro at our club (1992?). I don’t remember him telling us how to hold the bat, although he probably did. I just remember him being absolutely massive and being able to throw the ball horizontally from one side of our ground to the other.

Like the bat though!

Would love one!

Not had a batsman of this caliber for Pakistan in eons.. chance to be  a bit of a fan boy fkw!

- Give legends pads another go
- Get some of them lush vapour 1.3 gloves I've been drooling..
- Bat will have to wait unless GN do refurbs and can add some vapour green livery to my bat for the coming season.. @thebigginge pretty please????  ;) :)
