New gloves
« on: November 10, 2021, 07:24:05 PM »

Hi I am a Warwickshire u14 wk batsman and I am looking for some new top of the range gloves. Would you go with an off the shelf pair (if so what brand and model) or would you go down the custom route with graham plimmer?

As you're u14 you'll still be growing.

I don't know when your hands will stop growing but I'd be inclined to stick to off the shelf offerings for now

Off the shelf till you're sure they'll last more than a year. Same with any kit.

Depends on your budget really, if you can afford £200+ per year for gloves then custom is naturally the premium option - if you're using them multiple times per week throughout the year then it's a feasible investment really (especially if you're within the Warwickshire set up).

Using keeley gloves at the moment very soft at the back but also very thin and are wearing very very easily
