At that price point I'd have Phantom, but then I'd prefer some Chase FLC over those.

Palms just went hard very quickly and didn’t think the protection was the greatest

They'll all use a Pittard WR100x treated leather for the palm, don't ever wash them as that's the kiss of death really. If your after better protection, then maybe look to a sausage finger glove instead.

Too much .... would have to be completely in love with  a glove design for me to pay that much. Been using CA dragon gloves... really like them...less than half the price but admittedly not pittard and sausage style instead.
