Slazenger V12 Elite AU

Recently bought a Slazenger second hand with a big crack running up the toe
Under the grip is a faded sticker that to the best of my knowledge reads "SAMPLE(SLZ) PLAYER SHAPE"
Could anyone shed some light on what this means and where this bat was made
Also has a 12 piece cane handle
