Liam Livingstone with SG
« on: January 12, 2022, 11:55:50 AM »

On his instagram story, he posted himself using an SG.

I imagine they paid the big bucks for him. Maybe SG are looking to delve into the British market, because this is a big splash. Livingstone was probably the most popular English cricketer last year, after Root.

Is this Adidas done within cricket? I don't know many who are still signed with them.

SG bats that are available... whats the consensus? Thin handles? Good ping? Only good for two seasons? Any narrowing?

Good ping, handles can vary in thickness, definite narrowing across range and inserts get loose on most of them resulting in a clicking sound

So did I. Seems like this is no longer the case though.

SG are selling their kit through the kook network so they have obviously come to an agreement.

I would have thought that Kookaburra no longer has the clout to be able to make those sort of demands.  Back in the 90s there used to be a fair number around in Club cricket but I very rarely see any now whereas SG is certainly on the rise

I have a couple of SG bats and they are very very good, I would say better than SS personally. Stickers are a bit basic but the handles are medium thick, much better then Keeley but not quite GM thick and the pressing is very very good.
