I was actually joking. Thought it might have been Bergkamp or something, so tried to find the most mundane Denis i could think of just as a joke!  Now not sure if you're joking or not, so utterly confused 😂

I was struggling to decide which was going to be my bat to play with (when I finally start again) and always kept coming back to the neon, despite being an older bat there was something about it.  Unfortunately the handle was too thick for me but I couldn’t stop coming back to it.  I finally decided to reduce the thickness for my top hand and square of and angle the toe a bit.  ‘Denis’ (named after my all time favourite footballer) is now ready for action. 

Nice work mate, hopefully a few runs left in her yet - treated me well for a few seasons for sure!

It got its first knock today and still could hit the ball.  52 not out including a couple of 6’s.   I might have to pass it on to someone who will use it more than once a year now.
