So how well / how much cricket are the current England team playing?

Lees - Not playing
Crawley - Not scoring
Root - Not playing
Lawrence - Not scoring
Stokes - Not playing
Bairstow - Not playing
Foakes - Not scoring
Robinson - Not playing / injured
Overton - Not playing?
Leach - Not playing?
Mahmood - 1st game today?

Not exactly flooding the hopefuls with cricket - plus Broad not playing and Anderson  wicketless at time of writing.

How much of a rest do these guys need? Get out there and get playing, there is a country's reputation to gwet started on!!!!!

Alex Lees is injured. He scored a hundred in his last game.

Jack Leach is in Somerset team at the Oval. As is Craig Overton.

There are probably 85 'batsmen' in county cricket - I'm not sure England know who their top 8.5 are.

Suspect he'd make Kohli look quite calm and collected!

Of the guys who've been playing, Foakes Lees and Overton could hardly have done any more. Mahmood looked great yesterday against Glos. Few too many injuries around for comfort. Suggest you might want to watch a bit more county cricket Brucie!
