DKP cricket
« on: August 16, 2022, 12:59:04 PM »

Hi guys, had anyone had any dealings with DKP cricket (https://dkpcricketonline.com/). Not overly interested in the bats, but their softs (especially their stripper style thigh guards) look decent!

Not used their softs but have brought from them a few times. Always very helpful!

Want to give a shout out to DKP.
My son plays with a junior DKP bat (size 6 / 2.4 ) - I got it used for about $50. Its probably the best junior bat in his league, better than many $500 LW reserves.  In hindsight I would be happy paying a lot more for it :-)

The pressing is really soft though, The bat is about 3 seasons old, the bat has a lot of dings, the inside corner of the tow is bent backwards, right hander's inside edge suffered some dents.
The binding wasnt great, the bat was very whippy. I added a layer of athletic tape to stiffen it up.

This is his game bat, I dont let him use it in the nets. Next bat will also be a DKP!

Good customer service. Ordered 2 pairs of Kholi gloves and got them really quickly. Good pricing too.

I bought a bundle of their Pro gloves and pads - very nice indeed for sub £100.

Can't speak for their softs but I cannot recommend their custom bats at all. I asked for an SBLH and when I complained I was told "I don't see the issue, there's more bat to use". Handle was atrociously thin and the shape was nothing like requested. Save your money and go to a forum sponsor for a custom.
