If kit was unbranded, the club would not have the 'problem' of brands not matching from season to season.

If Adidas (or any other brand) was backing the club financially and/or supplying the kit for free it would be a different matter.

not sure i really get this thread........ your club's teamwear is from Warsop..... you aren't keen on Adidas they are stopping in Cricket anyways, so what is the problem?

If you don't want everyone to have different looking kit........ then don't change it.

TBH though you will do well to find a club that doesn't have different versions of training kit around at nets - because there is always people who don't want to buy new stuff when it gets changed over the years - and you simply can't force people to.

No, the club wears Adidas. The Thornster does his own thing and gets his stuff from Warsop.

I do not wish to speculate as to whether this has any impact on his popularity at the club.

Chingford Cricket Club's "clothing" supplier is All Rounder (https://www.allroundercricket.com/teamwear/cricket-teamwear/c/chingford-cc), who supply the Adidas kit/teamwear; as previously mentioned I am not keen on Adidas and with negative reviews from fellow club members regarding All Rounder's prices (clothing and embroidery), production (turnaround time for embroidery et cetera) and delivery; I decided to source my own kit/teamwear from Warsop. It is all a matter of preference especially when some members get free clothing from Daniel Lawrence and Jamie Porter.

"Thornster"; I've never been called that. I clearly have some popularity at my club as I run the adults indoor cricket team, work behind the bar and the majority of my cricket bat repairs, refurbishments and maintenance is from other club members.

Ah ok, apologies didn't realise this part of it.

I have heard these sort of reviews about All Rounder from other clubs.

I probably did over complicate it slightly.

As Adidas have pulled the plug on the cricketing market; what does this mean for All Rounder? Do they hold enough supply to meet demand?

I would imagine All Rounder will offer you another brand.

its no shock they are pulling out of the equipment side but i am surprised at teamwear as surely this is a license to print money for them, all they need to do it supply it to resellers to do the majority of the work

for all rounder this must by slightly worrying as was their main brand, and most of their business. im sure the other brands will be keen to step in though,

I have no time for all rounder - we set up a club shop with them at the end of one season and had moved to another before the start of the next because they were so bad - but I agree that it is bad news for them.  It does seem a surprising move for Adidas though

The only problem is, that at my cricket club, majority of the adult players have the Adidas kit/teamwear and are very reluctant to purchase all new kit/teamwear.

As previously mentioned, our colts do not use the Adidas kit/teamwear and if they were to obtain kit/teamwear from All Rounder, it is likely not to be fulfilled plus the parents of the colts are very reluctant to pay All Rounder's prices especially if they have more than one child within the colts hence why the colts committee decided a different approach and obtain their own kit (short sleeve playing shirts, playing trousers and cap) from one of the coaches' suppliers.

I think as a club with a proud history with the likes of Dan Lawrence (Essex and England) and Jamie Porter (Essex) coming through our ranks; it would be nice for both adults and colts to have the same kit/teamwear, especially when colts play adult cricket. Having played in the lower teams of the club, you see the mismatch in kit (even though I am one of those because of my preferences) between the adults and colts.

I am hoping that the club and its adults' and colts' members, agree that we should look at alternative suppliers in the light of Adidas' news and we will be able to have both adults and colts wearing the same kit/teamwear at an affordable price.

That is my rant over and I do apologise; I just have very strong beliefs in this matter.

Shrey, Masuri, kukri, TNF, SS to name a few. Go direct to source rather than via.  Retailer who are adding their mark up on top.

Sublimated kits can inc all the club logos/sponsors now to avoid any secondary printing/embroidery costs and lead times. You can also design the kit to make it custom to your club like we did below.

I’m in the early stages of sorting out an offering via A2 currently so looking to being with some local club to me for 2023 to begin with.

i dont think allrounder are that bad, they made a mistake a few years ago moving to screen printing but realized it quickly and remedied it. Its harsh to criticize the pricing as they are dictated by adidas pricing to them, try finding it much cheaper elsewhere - have to make a profit as well.

service wise they are no worse than any teamwear supplier, timescales was always an issue but that is probably down to sheer weight of orders all coming in at similar times, we use Masuri/NXT as well and they are no different.

its annoying from a club point of view as we all now need to find alternative kits, its a time and hassle nobody wants.

I'm a big fan of the GN teamwear my club signed up for. It's all pretty good quality, they deliver fast, customer service and returns have been excellent to date, and they do a loyalty scheme for discount vouchers, etc.
