@The Cricket Boutique thanks for sharing - what has been your favourite of the new ranges, and what has been your initial thought on them? Have gone into a few shops, and my general feel is...
Kryos - nicest stickers, a little wasted on the profile really. Feel that anything a little more modest in size should be an L555, just as a general feel when looking at the bat. But understand they've to try hit target weights, and SBLH setup helps, but as with the Prima, feel more traditional styles should be standard SH blade.
Hypa - best performing across the range from ones I've seen and tapped up. Lovely thick handle, and have warmed to the stickers. Pick ups have been good with that thick handle. Yet to see one where I've thought crickey, that's definitely a 37mm edge and 61mm spine and wow - but very solid across the grades.
Brava - seen one that I've liked, which was an LE grade. Rest have just felt pretty underwhelming... Not sure if it is down to just how the flat face feels when made at GM, as I seem to recall having that same issue with a lot of the F2 bats like the Zona and Octane. (Some were very nice indeed, but most I found felt too hard) Best shape of the range, wish they just went with the F4.5 face and accepted they'd be heavier personally, but maybe the clefts aren't cut big enough to accommodate that...
