Hi all,

Looking for the best possible gloves I can get my hands on (pun intended!).
Broke two fingers badly (and have metal bits now!) so need to look after them. Sausage gloves were suggested?

So money no object, ideally plain/not outlandish branding.

Any suggestions out there?

I have the CA dragon ones which I like ..

But I'd recommend the BAS gloves. Good protection and used by a lot of the Indian team.

Sausage style gloves have prob been recommended as they have less splits in them to exposure finger joints but a properly designed split finger glove will also help and be more flexible.

A gloves with foam/kapok stuffing + plastic outer layers would be top of my shopping list if I were you but given you�ve already got metal inserts something that�s isn�t too stiff would help too. Having broke my fair share of fingers over the years fielding I speak from experience 😆

Based on what I've got in stock currently, I'd go for either of these 2.

Both have additional plastic protection on the first 2 fingers of the top hand and sausage style to them. The A2 has a plastic layer to the rest of the rear of the glove vs the GM version.

Happy to inc either a pair of Traction socks or a Hybrid of your choice as a CBF member if you do opt for either of these

Or if you step upto the 909/LE version you might find they have that too but will cost more.

Personally I'll be rocking some prototypes that I've had made with D3o in the rear of them, it's added a few grams to the overall weight but worth the playoff for the additional levels of protection provided.

D30 is amazing stuff. I firsst came across it years ago in Mountain biking protection. I have a pair of thigh pad shorts that I made myself using plates of D30.

Went with the A2 and they're great. Quality is spot on, comfortable and I've now got fat(ter) sausagey fingers whilst batting.
Tom was as you'd expect great to deal with too
