What softs should I get...??
« on: January 10, 2023, 05:51:50 PM »

I appear to have some money in my PayPal account and having used the same pads and gloves for the last 3 summers am thinking of getting something new.

What recommendations do people have.

Note.
For pads, I like leather insteps, I don't like extra padding around my ankle area, I do like really light pads.... I also like blue trim.
I want matching gloves, I prefer sausage fingers, but am open to persuasion.

I like the new SS Pro white kit/sg hilite kit which seems pretty similar. I also like the Adidas kit although that is quite hard to come by...

Suggestions please.
I like value but given the above recognise that I could be paying north of £80 for pads and gloves each.

Should say i am only looking for new stuff!

The A2 softs are superb in terms both of quality and price point IMO.

Gloves for £60 and Pads for £80 👌

Pads are pretty light too ✅

What’s the sizing line on these please

The pads are actually Small Mens (currently in The Cricket Shed) and they are true to Small mens sizing TBH. So I can't comment on what the normal mens sizing would be like.

The gloves are mens but fit like an Indian mens definitely. Which I like as I prefer a tighter fitting glove.
