Got this from Mike a couple of weeks ago. Asked him for something really 'big'. Boy did I get a surprise!
After frantic knocking in and a few good sessions on the bowling machine finally dared use it against some 'real' bowling.

First Impressions
This bat must be made of balsa wood! The bat looks like it should weigh 3lb+ but it feels even lighter than its 2.10 dead weight. It is completely different to any other bat I have picked up. Bat felt really nice in the hand with quite a large round top half on the handle and a comfortable ovalled bottom half. Needless to say pick was very, very light and easy to throw around.
First use
Superb! I wouldn't say the bat goes any better off the middle than some other bats I have used but the middle seems to be anywhere from the bottom of the splice to the toe! You don't even have to hit it too cleanly / off the middle either (which is a bonus for me!) to send the ball sailing away.
Overall
I love this bat! It is bigger and lighter than any bat I have had.
I've got to say a big 'thanks' to Mike for digging this one out for me. One very happy chappy!
I can't wait to get out there and put some hapless bowling to the sword!
