Kent Cricket Direct
« on: February 14, 2023, 04:12:31 PM »

Not sure if this is the best place but just spent a great afternoon at Kent Cricket Direct in Tunbridge Wells:

https://www.kentcricketdirect.co.uk/

I was going to buy a first set of kit for my child (settled on a Hunts County Envy) but the adult kit looked amazing.

Service is hugely impressive. The owner couldn't have been more patient. Huge stock - the range of junior bats was extensive.

They had lots of great adult bats but some of their Salix were mouthwatering.

No parking outside but a carpark with lots of spaces just over the road (free for two hours). Thoroughly enjoyable trip and a great first cricket shopping experience for the little one. Now knocking in a size three Envy.

Dominic and Linda are just as fanatical on the pitch as off it.

They had a really clever setup. Middle shelving that could be pushed to the side. Avoided the little one damaging anything as he swung a bat round.

And, as I say, ridiculously patient and not trying to upsell. Overall, a really good shopping experience.
