Pull out box nets?
« on: March 26, 2023, 07:10:44 PM »

Just wondered if anyone could shed any light on some "pull out" nets.

They were bought by our club many years ago, but the practicalities of not having them permanently located on site means they have been in storage for probably over 15 years.

I'm trying to see who might have made them, but as far as I can see these type of nets aren't made nowadays?

Aim is to try and see if any clubs can make use of them, but it's a bit difficult as I'm not sure how to describe them!!

Looks like a Radford EZY net to me.

To be frank, i wouldn't waste your time. The only ones I see in use are left out permanently, which rather defeats the point. The netting doesn't have a roof and the mechanisms/moving parts of the system are notoriously unreliable.

Thanks for the reply.

As you say, I'm not sure what use they would be to anyone - they certainly weren't practical for our needs!
