We do seen to have another bunch of young keepers. What with Smith and also Rew at Somerset looks very good and only 19.

Talking of Somerset did anyone see the blow up on twitter with Craig Overton after their match with Lancs after the 'he said, you said' about setting up a declaration etc...

Not sure how many England players we will loose, probably only Pope and Foakes.
Smith keeps and the Ben Geddes comes in. Then we have loads of bowlers being rotated.

Tom Latham to cover for Pope.

As a "Man of Kent" I have to say I am very disappointed with start to season......we are not the best starters each year and hope the recent trend of an upward curve in championship results post T20 Blast may continue. Feels very much that we are focused on white ball cricket with plenty of what I would call bits and pieces players but bowling attack for division one of Championship is very weak - lack of genuine pace and a consistent spinner. Linde has been a big let down.

Looks like a fight to survive

Ah

It was the greatest 19 ever

Better than any of his hundreds!

Surrey at it again. Another clinical finish.

I hate to bang the typical Surrey drum but this is an incredible 2nd innings

Dom the wall Sibley. Amazing knock considering the players allowed to bat around him.

That is absolutely mental from Surrey.

Quite ridiculous really! How often does a side chase 500 to win!

Good timing from Ben Foakes two days before the Test

And at a decent clip from Foakes too, can't help but feel he's a loss to that England side.

Yes but was actually expecting it considering how terrible Kent are this year

And now we've signed Dan Lawrence out of nowhere. Apparently Essex's offer was better financially, but I guess the lure of playing at the Oval more often and the squad we have has proved attractive. Not sure we need him though when you consider the other players we have around - personally a big fan of Geddes
