Old pads peeling
« on: April 23, 2023, 02:59:45 PM »

I recently have bought an old pair of hunts county vision pads that must be at least 15 years old. The Pu on the pads is peeling a little, probably due to age, but does anyone know how to repair or stop the pu peeling?

From memory one of the old boys at my previous club used to just apply superglue to his - when I say these were ancient they must've been 30+ years old, proper metal buckles the lot.

With the PU being stretched realistically once it starts peeling it'll be very hard to stop, so some sort of strong glue is probably your only real option
