Yes what might of been for us, I think the catches behind the wicket and chances not gone for cost us in the end.
How Woakes does not play at home all the time when fit is beyond me. Wood is never going to play all five matches but he was superb, as was Broad.
Annoyingly I think we would win at the Oval had the weather not cost us in this game, we played the better cricket in Manchester.
But it’s the first two games, you just have to take your chances at that level, and yes, a bit of recklessness with the bat.
