If Stokes was fearless he'd drop Bairstow

Foakes would have taken that!

I’m a firm believer he would have taken all 3 of them. But this is what we have and what we are likely to have all series,

Iv noticed on the highlights and looking at the catch from Marnus and the drip from Carey that for some reason YJB has a thing for catching one handed. Now iv obviously never kept at this level but spent most of the playing days as a keeper and they are 2 handed grabs both in my opinion. 1 sticks and 1 spills, just wonder why the 1 handed technique

Australia have absolutely thrown that.

Yes but it sounds like a least captaincy wise something unconventional worked

Stokes seems to have a natural braveness to try at least

Ah

Honestly find this crazy! He s England best player last summer pretty much, came in yesterday at a very tricky time and changed the moment um completely. I get he's made mistakes with the gloves, but he has been out for a while.

As Key has said some people will always find problems with solutions instead of running with it.
Truth is Foakes soon will not even be 2nd choice keeper with players coming through this blueprint is not going away.
We are seeing another change in cricket.

He not a great mover and looks a little lead footed to me.
Bats well and is a game changer though

The Moeen Ali situation is probably more outrageous.

Reckon we may need to find another spinner come the third test? Got over a week between this one and Lords then they are a bit closer together
