Big day today...if Eng win then all is forgotten, otherwise the first day declaration decision is going to come back and bite in a big way. Not that the Eng management would care. Not seen a more chilled dressing room ever.

Will be a good day if the cloud cover remains, if it clears then it's definitely even more advantage Aus.  If it hoops though we're well in the game. Looking at the forecast, we've maybe got an hr or two where it could be really helpful conditions.  So gotta make the most of it!

Watching back some of these missed Bairstow chances, forget about the first innings declaration - not picking the best keeper is looking very foolish.

He's always carried a bit of timber, but I guess months off unable to do any conditioning work probably doesn't help.
