This was a perfect day to bowl on and Australia essentially crushed some truly woeful bowling.
Anderson pitiful again. Robinson down on pace. Tongue was lively at times.

I was at Lords today and for the first hour England�s bowling was excellent just not backed up in the slips. After that pretty poor. As has been said all the Aussie batters walking at Robinson, Anderson for the first time in a while looked like Father Time has caught up with its him, Broad ok, Tounge on debut was the pick and bowled some good pace and Root was good but his wickets where from very poor shots. Need to knock 5 over quickly tomorrow but certainly Australia�s day

I actually thought the bowlers were a little unlucky early doors in the first hour. They beat the bat a few times in the morning and could have had a few wickets. Pretty dire later on though, that's for sure.

I'd say it's justified after what was a pretty weak performance on Day 1. Only way out now is a magic first hour

They had a bad day yesterday, it happens and they haven't had that many recently. Let's not forget we're playing the best team in the world right now. khawaja, Marnus, Smith and Head have been outstanding recently.

No question day 1 was poor, but there's always room for a comeback in a 5 day test! Ball is still new, conditions hopefully conducive to a bit of lateral movement, fingers crossed.
