Was listening to TMS and apparently Crawley is an 'impact opener.' Never heard the term before.

When wickets are falling all around this guy, and he steps up and hits clean/middle-of-the-bat shots to score a century, it is easily worth more than a century. Well done, Mitch Marsh!

I come back to check the scores and ENG are 3 down. In Test cricket, must reserve judgement till both sides bat on the wicket.

Cry a bit more…Mitch will enjoy it

There's a reason he hasn't played a test in for years, or only five first class games since 2019

And it's not because he's a world class all rounder

Take off your green tinted glasses... He's rubbish

That being said, his hitting today was very enjoyable

Watched a Mitch Marsh hundred at Perth a few years ago that was very enjoyable. Smashed it. Much better to watch than Smith poking and prodding at the other end. The knock today was quality aswell.

That said he was dropped on 12 which added at least 106 to Australias score. Australia had 3 chances this afternoon and caught 3. England only have themself to blame

Pfffft - England to get blown away for 140 today and spend the rest of the match chasing the game.

Spoiler alert: I'm usually wrong, bit of reverse Pysch for you there  :D

Woakes is pretty capable. Don't have much faith in Moeen doing anything significant. Wood, Broad and Robinson might bash a few.

We really, really, really need to carve out a lead - anything around parity is just asking for defeat

I think we'll be lucky to get parity at this rate, unless someone does a superstar bit!

The Aussie are good, but we don't half make it hard for ourselves at times, Bazball or no!

I'd love a Ginger Smackathon here!
