Has anyone had any experiences with GB Willow?:- https://gbwillow.co.uk/

They are only a few years old and based in Hastings. According to their blurb, they picked up two bat makers from Gray Nicolls a couple of years ago to help get things going.

You are spoilt for choice with a few good bat makers within a 30mins drive from there but they are priced a little lower than others so wasn't sure if it was worth a punt. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks

Isn't that the Choice guy? I don't know why he stopped Choice, those stickers were excellent back in the day.

Actually I'm wrong, he started WG willow instead.. something like that.

Don’t know anything about them but if they can make a G3 for £115 I can’t believe these are UK made as cleft, handle, sticker and grip must be that alone of course could be wrong

It's all UK made mate, they have their own willow plantations (website details it all!) - started off selling raw clefts before the bat making side started a few years back

They are based in Hastings, with a large workshop/warehouse there. Head Batmaker is Malcolm, ex GN. The boss Simon was a GN willow merchant, now on his own.
