Absolutely! We have just enjoyed moving from Magento 1 to M2, and of course part of the pain was all those hidden goodies became er, not so hidden!

Good spot 😉

Having just got my hands on some of the new range the Aion in particular is a lovely profile and the graphics on it are superb with just the right mix of colours or leap out at you.

The 606 range in particular with its price point amazes me in terms of the willow quality they use compared to what other brands would be selling at prob double the price. With weights of 2.9-10 as well the are by no means small bats when factoring in the GM handle thickness they use.

Who knows I may even get an invite to the launch next year 😂

I did see the new range for 24  largely the same

Of the batch I saw was the handles seem less thick than last year . Last year they were thicker than the previous year

The ones I’ve got here compared to the Kryos/Hypa/Sparq’s I’ve got in stock measure up between 13.5-14cm in circumference on the thickest part of their handle so I’m assuming they are using the same handles/process as with previous years and are the thickest I’ve come across.

Compare this for example to A2/Salix/Keeley/H4L that all sit at 12cm whilst B3 are beefier at 13cm-13.5cm.

Yes it’s a Slow Sunday avoiding and I’m avoiding finding Lego pieces and rubbish tv!

Interesting

This is not against Gm or a bashing just a comparison

Visited second shop today

Handles are thinner vs last year as you go up to the top

And both sets of bats from differnt shops are no longer 108mm

I guess they have have had to make some compromises
Found circa 105 106

Not a criticism as I think Gm do a great job but there does seem some changes this year from two differnt batches I have seen ..

Maybe they had to to keep weights down and follow rest of industry

We haven't changed our handle specs. Brava is thinner.

Kind regards

Thanks Edward
Gm are doing a great job. You have the best brand in my opinion …

The one I measured today was 105mm blade width Short handle , must be a one off although last week I measured one as 106mm SH

Used both a electronic and measurer tape to check

These are such small numbers it does not really matter although I really did like how every bat was max width before without the need to check …

I did notice though the front and back were exactly the same so not like some brands which are 105 front and then 101mm back

The ping off both bats was incredible from the off :)

Some nice looking bats in the 2024 range. Aion looks like an evolution of the Noir/Chroma style. Have you dropped the Chroma and Hypa, or is the 2024 category on the website just showing the new additions?

Thanks Edward

How different are the Brava and Aion?

Thanks

Hypa is slightly higher swell than brava and Aion is higher than the Hypa from what iv seen ( and Aion iv bought) Aion is a mini players edition as was the chroma but seem to able to get the Aion at lighter weights then often seen the chroma at. Hope that helps
