Squeaky Cricket Pads
« on: October 27, 2023, 08:59:30 AM »

Hi

Can anybody help here please. We bought some pads for my son which he was going to start using at the tail end of the season and for the winter. I tied them up as I have done for all his pads. He has used them for about 3 to 4 hours so far but they are really squeaky. Not had this before with any of his previous pads.

Just wondering if anyone has any advice on how this can be stopped.

Cheers

They will stop eventually, once worn in a bit. How long varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, and even sometimes from batch to batch of the same brand/model.
