New website and shop move.
« on: March 04, 2024, 11:25:05 PM »

Just looked at the H4L website and it's had a great overhaul:

https://www.h4l.co.uk/pages/making-a-cricket-bat

Picked up a brilliant grade 2 from Cricket Boutique last year. H4L still making fantastic bats.

They have also moved to a bigger site. Very tempted to nip down there before the season. Workshop right next to the store:

I’m off with my @The Cricket Boutique hat on tomorrow to venture down to see Matt at his new set-up and pick out some new bats for this season.

Looking forward to seeing the new set-up and obviously ogling willow 🤣

I've heard they are now (or will be soon) making bats for a fairly major brand, which would explain the need to size up

Having just got back it was a day well spent checking out Matt’s new gaff and the wall of bats

I will keep an eye on your Instagram. The teal players bat is an absolute star.

Yeh the players profile sold really well last season so tucked into a few of them for the pile i assembled, Matt's just giving them a final sand/buff and sticker before they make their way to me.

Mid profiles on the players?

They look fantastic.

Yep both Mid profiles, they are on the website with more pics and specs 👍

The G2 in the middle is rather tasty too at 2.10, it’s got a flattened to shape too it which Matt said the Pros prefer when looking down at rather than the stock shape that runs the spine into the toe.

The psychology of bats is fascinating. The shape does look nice but not sure it would suit the uncovered fields I play on these days 🤣

On a quick visit to the area I did pop in. It would have rude not to. Good to see Matt again. I dropped off a 50/Fifty for a refurb and a bit of weight removal.
Said it's ok to post photos if he likes so you might see it on there.
