Bet WCW are fuming, all these photos of Louis Kimber and he's using a stickered up Ton really visibly, get the sand paper out on the laser engraving next time lads. Probably the best bit of PR they would have all year wasted cos it was a Ton bat.

Sooooo happy for Middx that they took back Ryan Higgins. Bit of a handy batting allrounder 850 + runs plus 20 wickets.

Best thing that's happened to us for a long time!

The player who should be keeping isn’t even mentioned in that article.
Only England could pick a keeper who is 2nd choice for his county and going by other reports pick a spinner who’s 2nd choice for his county too, despite both 1st choice players being English too.

I already said on another forum that Smith/Robinson would be the new Bairstow/Foakes.

Clearly selections based on looking to future. I like the look of Smith in particular. Looks like a player who could be a feature for England in all three formats

Jack Leach hasn't had much luck as a test cricketer but his bowling is a long way from being good enough, his fielding is poor and at 33 it is time to look to the next generation

I'm not sure it is even as straightforward as the two of them - remember James Rew is coming through at Somerset and looks the real deal as well.  FWIW, I think Robinson was unlucky on this occasion - Smith's form with the bat has been decent, his has been stellar and he is the better keeper of the two.  Plus I was hoping to laugh at the commentators trying to work around having two Ollie Robinson's in the team!

My sense is that they want Jamie Smith in the England batting unit and once Root and or Stokes retires, Smith will move up to bat and the likes of Rew will get their chance.

It's great when the County Championship gets a bit of traction. That late Somerset victory yesterday not only got on the back pages, but also means the last 2 rounds of fixtures could be fantastic viewing.

Seems I'll get to see Emilio play at the Oval after all. ;)

3 in a row. Dominant again. Outstanding from Stewie, Batty, Burns and their quest for nothing but excellence

At full strength they'd give the test side a good game
