Kamindu Mendis reaches 1000 test runs
« on: September 27, 2024, 10:50:45 AM »

.....with a six no less (against a weary NZ attack)!

Manages it in 13 innings to be joint 3rd fastest (with the Don) by no. of innings, and second to the Don in terms of matches. Wonderful effort, also managed to score 8 consecutive (by matches played) half-centuries (or better)! Well done!

Will be interesting to see how the net 1000 runs go.

How long before an SG Kamindu bat is out for retail? :D

Kusal Mendis is the GN player.

Kamindu Mendis is the SG player who just scored 1000 test runs.

Too many Mendi (what is the plural for a group of Mendis' ??)?? ;)

Amazing start to a test career.
Kiwis are in a spot of bother in this test.
The Sri Lankan team is doing well.
