Pakistan Players batting glove brand
« on: October 08, 2024, 08:33:27 AM »

Apart from those Pakistan test players who are sponsored by GN, the rest seem to use the same brand (also pads). Does anyone know which brand and model of gloves are being used, how to they compare (to other retail models) - anyone have experience with them, and are they available to order?

I'd be a bit surprised if that's right as they seem to have about 5 different bat sponsors? Spotted Malik, UZ, MIDS, Infinity plus the GNs so far.

Some, including Saud Shakeel had non-GN gloves with tape over the logo, but looks the same as Salman Ali Agha (bat is Infinity branded though), and the two openers I think who had MB Malik bats had these gloves. Prob tailenders sticking on brand with matching set?

One of the batters had this brand on, not sure if these are what you're referring to...

I believe it’s quite common for the to have separate bat, glove and pad sponsorship deals in Pakistan.

Hi Jonny, yes that's the one. Anyone have experience of this brand? Are they available in the UK?

Must be very different sponsorship terms then than players from outside the subcontinent (I think some Indian, Sri Lankan and Bangladesh, possibly some WI? players do use a mixture of brands, concealed or rebranded). Maybe what they are comfortable having used them for a long period?

Mostly sub-continent, but they white label for a lot of companies - good quality at the higher end of the ranges for sure

Thanks Adam, interesting to know that they white label for a lot of companies. Would be interesting to know which companies they produce gloves for, but sure that will be industry secrets!  :D

Looks like the Pakistan batsmen can jump around from brand to brand within even the same innings!

Kamran Ghulam went from MB gloves to MIDS gloves then back to MB in his debut match hundred today!
