I had a few questions about the knocking in process. I've been watching this video (link below) where the chap says they should only knock the fibers in for a while, so knock the wood in for a while and then the fibers are compressed they need to let the air out so then you stop and you do it again. So I just wanted to ask with regards to this how long should I spend? Should I spend maybe half an hour or an hour knocking in and leave the bat for a few hours or do I leave it for a day for this fiber airing out thing to happen and then do it again. The other thing was that I'm using my nail to press into the bat to see if it's been knocked in. Should it be the case that I can press my nail in and it just does no mark whatsoever or is a slight mark okay what am I looking for please?
