Best International Captain at the moment
« on: August 24, 2008, 03:07:22 PM »

Who do people think is the best captain at the moment?  Personally i think it is Smith even though he didn't have a very good game on Friday.

It doesnt matter what any one says if he performs his duty well, which unfortunately he is not doing. Its a hard one to pick in my opinion but I would probably be saying Smith as he brings a very possitive and aggressive attitude in his team. Jaywardene and Dhoni are alsoo pretty good and have a possitive style of captaining the team.

M.S. Dhoni

The anticipation of him emerging from the pavilion, and his walk from the boundary to the centre, is almost surreal. The sound of a passionate Indian crowd all chanting "Sachin, Sachin" as they wait in anticipation, followed by the enormous roar when he emerges onto the field, is electrifying.

Well Pietersen Can't Argue With A 100% Win Record

Other Than That, Jayawardene, Phenomonal Player In My Opinion

IIRC Pietersen lost the first game he captained against New Zealand.

Dhoni the best skipper going around

Personally i think this is going to be Ponting's hardest test as captain and i don't think that he will be able to win the series without a quality spinner, something which he hasn't got. That is the time you need a captain who can make something happen and we will have to see if his captancy is up to it.
