The whole starting a company idea is very interesting especially in terms of softs, I reckon to achieve a lot you need to undercut competitors or produce radical new ideas, good luck.

I was merely curious Dave, we've had a whole bunch of kids and crackpots saying they are making a brand over the years. It is very easy for anyone to say it, most members on here would know where to get bats made, softs, made, stickers made etc. You are simply at the back of a very long queue and since I'm already in the business was curious how you claim to be able to buy clefts in Kent when I know for no one supplying clefts in Kent.

Also very strange that you are not having them made by your good and close friend in Hampshire, I'd hope you would show some loyalty to him after all he has done for you. Unless there is no willow merchant in Kent and this is just a joke on your part, in which case you have duped me.....

Mike it will be no brand as such I claim nothing but bats will be made and showing loyalty I do I not after compeating with anybody and the wood will be from Kent well picked up there. Like I have already said it will be very small scale not compeating with anybody. I can tell you I asked 3 people for prices of clefts handled and pressed you being one and at the minute I going with the cheapest

Well what can I say, I pride myself on knowing the 9 willow merchants in the country and now I find there is a tenth........

I may have to travel to Nepal for a period of reflection......

Handled and Pressed, right, now I see, then I know who that is and you are not actually buying willow, buying a part made.

Es mate I do not have the budget to buy a load from wrights or a maker like I said a hobby.   I have done a bit of research and most do not realy care where it was pressed and handled.   All itrying to do is put a top end bat out there at a price is right and there will be no big time sales or anything just me and my son following a hobby. Got to do something to while away my spare time and it will be good and fun and I will take pride in them.
