Masuri Structure
« on: April 07, 2010, 04:44:37 PM »

Here is the video, I can push it in really easily.

The only hit it has taken was when a mate drove a ball back on the bowling machine and it hit the top at the back. With the red bowling machine balls. It wasn't very hard but caused the screws to pop off the back to grill fixings

Have you emailed Masuri about it? You might be able to get a replacement if it is classed a manufacturing fault.

Think they should be more rigid in structure than that mate, these ones iv got are out at the office ATM so can't look but if ur fingers can do that what's a ball going to do?

They are usually solid due to the interior ridge in them, how old is the lid did u say 2007?are u able to take it back to the place u bought it from?

I bought it from cricket supplies, it may have even been december 2007. It does feel rigid, but that is my weaker left hand doing that. This is also only at the back, it is fine everywhere else

my grill is also warped, its a Ti grill I got separately, meaning the side that face the bowlers the top grill bar dips down and the gaps is bigger that side than the other

Not really mate unless you can send it back to masuri but seeing As it's over 2 yes old prob being a bit hopeful. With ours the fibreglass is re enforced with extra layers in area rs likely to be exposed such as the rear etc

Interestingly, I've managed to put a crack through to the innermost layer of the shell of my Masuri from throwing it across the dressing room after getting out missing a straight delivery.  Guess I've learnt my lesson.
