Did say I'd rather bat 1 for the 2's than 8 for the 1's but seeing as we're so short and it's a good game to win then I would like to be firsts.

Lol our situation is so bad we have one of the player's girlfriends playing for our 4's (who has had experience playing!)

awful day at cricket! we turned up and the our opposition were fully kitted up in the nets bowling flat out as we arrived (with just 9 players...) we batted first and were 87-1, only to be bowled out for 103 (8 wickets down).

i only made 4 from 20 balls, batting down the order as we felt that because of the 9 man situation it would be good giving some other guys a chance in the top 5. then kept wicket and took a catch but we still lost by 9 wickets. all over by 5.30pm.......

Why so short mate seemed to have struck alot of sides today as alot seemed to be missing lots of players!!

We bowled first, bowled them out for 114 and I wanted to do it in the 15 overs before teas and got caught by a guy one handed who hasn't taken a catch for two years only for him to drop 3 more catches after!

yeah it seems that way! and its just a mixture of different things, skipper is at silverstone, few more couldnt travel due to working in the morning, couple on holiday. it was really weird that we couldnt just get two fielders to play as we usually find someone to fill in.

And I thought u were all defensive!! We bowled them out for 150 and chased them down of off 26 overs so wasn't too bad, scored a few which is always nice

got in yesterday on a rock hard pitch with a rapido outfield, got to 20 against some good bowling, then a young legspinner came in to their attack with everyone on the boundaries except one at cover and one at midwicket. half tracker outside off stump which sat up and waited to be hit, i smashed it straight at cover, didnt even have to move! g-u-t-t-e-d!

played one of the most sctrachy innings i have ever played yesterday... made 10 having batted for an hour and 8 minutes!! every ball i hit was straight to the fielder :/   then ran myself out stupidly... not a good day

i got 89 yesterday in the horrible heat, managed to get a dash of sunstroke and as the saying goes i believe i "CHUNDERED EVERYWHAA" later. we are top of our division and lost to bottom of the division mainly due to the captain but lets not go there
im very pleased with how much ive improved over the end of last season and the start of this, im now disapointed with my last two scores of 85 and 89 as i feel i should of pushed on for 100.
happy days apart from puking 

oh and i also pulled out my reverse sweep thingy shot ive worked on in the nets against their opening bowler, got 4 for it

i got sunstroke as well, was fine this morning, got in my car and all of a sudden felt sick, and was sick like 2 mins later, very weird
