Bellingham Smith
« on: April 11, 2010, 10:39:48 AM »

Hi guys,
Any of you using a Bellingham SMith bat.
My SA colleague, also a cricket player, is simply in love with them.
Most webshops in the UK don't sell them so I'm looking around for some opinions.

Cheers

I've got one (B&S Limited Edition) that I bought off cd0070. It was refurbishd by Hell4Leather with their stickers and it really goes. It's lovely - probably my best buy off the forum. I really recommend them.

Quality bats - at one point alot of the South African players were supposed to have used them!
That wouldn't surprise me as they are decent sticks. But they are also a nice change from the normal bats! Very few people have them, so nice to be different!  8)

Cool, are they easily to find in the UK. Or do you have to order them in SA?
Could you compare the quality with , let's say a GM LE original. My most expensive bat so far :-)

Yeah my coach sells them, the LEs look quality, some of the others are a bit dodge... I'll be at the factory in SA next year around February/March hopefully.

http://www.bellinghamandsmith.co.uk/ a link for them. Rated well in the magazine tests, and as has been said most of the Saffer batsmen use them, or used to at least!

That bat was simply amazing kinda regret letting it go.. Really surprised that more people don't use them, I had it custom made from B&S in SA lovely bat which just simply goes amazingly!!

Im sure that Aswani cricket has 2 models for sale. No doubt that B&S are excellent bats according to my SA mates.
