Earlier on in the season on another board I expressed the opinion that watching Stratford with May batting would be a great way to spend a day watching cricket. I have also expressed the view that he was the best uncapped player I had ever umpired.

He scored the only centuries made by the club and two thirds of the fifties. He scored four times more runs than the next best run scorer.
