he usually uses the cor3 to start his innings and then the mmi to push the pace after hes faced 20 or so balls

After playing around with a CoR3 I feel that bat speed is also increased with the bat, just not as much as the MMi3.

Anyone will use anything if the money is right, and I'm also pretty sure Lara ain't short of money and has turned down several offers from the Ipl and also offers from Australia. He may be 40 but he is a legend of the games and one of The worlds best ever batsmen, take a look in the Ipl and see what star names both past and present do for the game.

If Lara has half his previous ability that will be better than most on the county scene, i hope he does return and i will go to one of the games to watch the greatest batsmen of all time.

Who said he turnt down offers from the IPL? He was trying for a player/coach role at Kochi next year, but it fell thru. By a few reports he was pretty eager on sign on the dotted line.
